Daljeet Kaur Gets Nostalgic On Her Last Wedding Anniversary With Shaleen

TV actress Daljeet Kaur went through a rough patch when her marriage to actor Shaleen Bhanot hit rock bottom. With several issues cropping between the two, the couple had a public spat last year as Dalljiet accused Shaleen of domestic violence.

And as she is all set to enter a new phase of her life with son Jaydon, the actress shared this emotional post wishing Shaleen on their wedding anniversary one last time. The couple had tied the knot on this day in 2009. Daljeet wrote: “A journey began 7 years back. Today it will live for the last time before we get declared divorced in two months time.... lots happened...lots was said...lots was felt....and lots was lived..... but one thing i know by the end of this journey is that I got Jaydon who is my life...my reason to live....if I hadn’t walked through this route of destiny...I wouldn’t have had Jaydon in my arms. I think god has bigger plans and we all don’t see it until we live it. So as i live my marriage anniversary for the last time....today I want to wish Shaleen a good life. May u have a good, happy and successful life and may you find your peace too...”


In October, Shaleen was given a clean chit by the Bombay High Court against all charges levied against him by ex-wife, TV actress Daljeet Kaur, including dowry harassment, attempt to murder and domestic violence (Shaleen Bhanot Walks Free, Court Clears Domestic Violence Charges, Oct 5). While his family, friends and fans were delighted as an ‘innocent’ Shaleen walked free, Daljeet and he had an out-of-court settlement. In an exclusive interview with Spotboye.com, Daljeet shot back: “He gave me some money but not a huge amount. I didn’t see the point of it all. Going to the court time and again would have been a waste of time and energy. The actress was allegedly tortured by Shaleen in their 5 years of marriage (Daljeet Kaur: Today I have to save money for my baby's milk, Sep 12, 2015). After spending a traumatic time where Shaleen offered no help to her and their son, Daljeet eventually took the call of ending the chapter called 'Shaleen Bhanot' in her life.
